My QualificationsI am a wife and Mother and worked for the best part of my career in the Prison Service prior to becoming a full time Counsellor.
Over the years I have gained a wide range of experience in different environments including some of the most challenging in Prisons, Schools and Childcare.
Counselling - Professional and Training Qualification
BACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist
NCFE Diploma in Counselling
NCFE Certificate in Counselling
Member of British Association for Counsellors and Psychotherapist
Member Counselling Children and Young People Association
Licenced Practitioner of I.E.M. Therapy
I have also undertaken further training in specific areas of Counselling including
Child Protection Training
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
Domestic Violence
NCFE Child Counselling
Importantly, Counselling is not a career for me but rather a vocation in something in which I truly belief I can make a difference to people’s lives.
My home office in Bearpark is in easy reach of most areas in County Durham in the area between Consett, Sunderland, Chester le Street and Durham itself.
